Through a diverse range of teaching and learning styles, students will have the opportunity to develop fashion-specific practical skills in leadership, management and teamwork, in addition to devising entrepreneurial and innovative solutions to fashion business problems. All modules are mandatory.
Stellum International/Ecamod proposes two study modes for the BA Fashion PR and communication: initial or alternance. Courses are supplemented by seminars, trips and workshops.
You will receive up to nine hours of formal teaching in a typical week of study. These study hours may be made up of a combination of face-to-face teaching, individual and group sessions, and online classes. You will also be expected to spend a significant amount of time conducting independent study.
You will be encouraged to pursue self-directed learning by exploring the streets, markets and stores around you, conducting store observations to develop your research and critical-thinking skills. Youāll be encouraged to go out and examine how fashion is promoted according to its context, from high street to luxury.
With so much on offer around you, you can make the most of Parisās museums, exhibitions and special collections, both contemporary and historical.
- Assessment:
Assessments can include developing and producing digital media and brand strategies, creative projects, experiential and digital campaigns, marketing copy, poster designs and dashboard analytics. You may have the opportunity to work on client-briefed projects, and produce business reports and pitches, perhaps even presenting these to industry professionals. - Job ready:
Students will have access to a diverse set of technological tools and resources to enable them to enhance their abilities in creating, disseminating and analysing communications.
Your tutors will aim to keep you informed of relevant trade shows and fashion conferences, and where possible make these available to you, sometimes at special rates. We also aim to organise visits to fashion brand headquarters, magazines, event production firms, and PR and communication agencies (subject to availability). - International experience opportunities:
This course is set in an international context, so global considerations will underpin your learning. You will have the chance to explore key global issues, such as cultural diversity, sustainability and ethics.
You will gain intercultural knowledge by studying campaign activities with a global reach. You may also have the opportunity to complete consulting projects for international brands.
Youāll have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse international cohort, who will bring fascinating insights on fashion and business from their home countries.
To be eligible to enter onto BA level courses, students should a possess a good BTS or equivalence degree ( Minimum 11/20), a sound understanding of fashion and business fields.
Proficiency in English must be demonstrated and will be assessed during the induction phase of this course. Applicants must meet the minimum IELTS requirements of 6.5, 650 at TOEIC or a 13/20 in your final English exam.

- Fashion Marketing Manager: A Fashion Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote fashion products or services. They analyze market trends, target audiences, and competitor activity to create effective campaigns that increase sales and brand awareness.
- Retail Buyer: A Retail Buyer selects and purchases fashion products for a retail store or online platform. They work closely with suppliers, designers, and merchandisers to ensure that the products meet the needs of the target market and fit within the store’s budget and brand image.
- Brand Manager: A Brand Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a brand’s identity, image, and reputation. They create marketing campaigns that align with the brand’s values and personality and ensure that all communications and products reflect the brand’s vision.
- Fashion Public Relations Specialist: A Fashion Public Relations Specialist manages the relationship between a fashion brand or designer and the media, influencers, and celebrities. They pitch stories, arrange interviews and events, and create press releases and other communications to generate positive publicity for the brand.
- Social Media Manager: A Social Media Manager creates and manages social media accounts for a fashion brand or retailer. They develop content, engage with followers, analyze metrics, and create campaigns that increase engagement and drive sales.
Working and studying through āapprentissageā
It is possible to study the BA Fashion PR and Communication through an āapprentissageā contract which is an option open to young people aged 16 to 29 on the day the work contract starts. Tuition fees are provided by the companiesā OPCOs. Research has demonstrated that students undertaking this route find jobs more easily and that the quality of jobs available for them is higher.
It is possible to switch from fee-paying Part-time to āapprentissageā in the second year of the Part-time study option.

The professional certification Head of Development and Commercial Management, level 6 European, is aimed at profiles able to manage both the sales process with customers and prospects, and implement marketing actions in line with their market. The program is built on a model alternating presence in formation centre and presence in company. During their formation, apprentices acquire skills to:
- Analyse sales-marketing data and participate in the sales strategy,
- Develop a customer portfolio (BtoB, major accounts),
- Drive sales performance and deploy sales and customer marketing actions via traditional and digital channels, managing the sales team.
Admission requirements: Be 16 to 29 years old (beyond for RQTH people).
