The controller of your personal data is Stellum International, whose registered office is located at 4 avenue Vavin, 75006 Paris, France. Stellum International, the official academic partner of Coventry University, delivers Coventry University’s Bachelor and Master programmes on its Paris campus.

We collect and process the following categories of data:
Identification and contact data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, current school or institution, current level of study, programme of interest.
Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, length of visit, referral source (audience measurement cookies, subject to your prior consent).
Application data (where applicable): CV, cover letter, transcripts, academic certificates, professional situation, study project.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your information requests about our programmes (sending brochures, scheduling appointments, exchanges with an admissions advisor)
  • Managing your application if you decide to apply to one of our programmes (file review, interviews, admission)
  • Keeping you informed about Stellum International (events, new programmes, open days), subject to your explicit consent
  • Improving our website and services through anonymised statistical analysis
  • Complying with our legal obligations (accounting, quality control, legal archiving)

4. Legal bases

Depending on the purpose, the processing of your data relies on:

  • The performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (responding to your information request, reviewing your application)
  • Your explicit consent for recurring marketing communications (which you may withdraw at any time)
  • Our legitimate interest in improving our services and ensuring the security of our website
  • Compliance with legal obligations to which Stellum International is subject

5. Recipients of data

Your data is accessible only to authorised personnel within Stellum International (admissions team, academic team, management).
We use technical sub-processors for the operation of our services:

  • Brevo (SendinBlue SAS, France) — email delivery and prospect relationship management platform, hosted within the European Union
  • LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Ireland) — distribution of our advertising and collection of leads through Lead Gen Forms. For any potential transfers to the United States, LinkedIn relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Bookings (Microsoft, United States) — appointment scheduling tool, with transfers governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses
  • Coventry University (United Kingdom) — only for admitted and enrolled student files, as part of the academic validation of programmes
    Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our sub-processors (LinkedIn, Bookings) may process your data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, in accordance with Article 46 GDPR, and supplemented by appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
Transfers to Coventry University (United Kingdom) rely on the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission on 28 June 2021 concerning the United Kingdom.

7. Data retention periods

Unsuccessful application file 2 years after the decision
Enrolled student file 10 years after end of programme (academic legal obligations)
Commercial prospecting data 3 years from last contact, then deletion or anonymisation
Audience measurement cookies 13 months maximum

At the end of these periods, your data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy of it
  • Right to rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data in the cases provided for by the GDPR
  • Right to restriction: request the temporary suspension of processing
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured and reusable format
  • Right to object: object to the processing of your data, particularly for direct marketing purposes
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent
  • Right to define directives regarding the fate of your data after death

These measures include in particular encryption of communications (HTTPS), strict access controls, and regular training of our teams on data protection issues.
